Pablo Ruiz-Minguela, OPERA project Coordinator, was invited to present progress of this H2020 project at the last meeting of the Danish Partnership for Wave Energy (Rambøll, Copenhagen, 9th March 2017).

Anders Eldrup, Chairman of Offshore Energy Denmark, opened the event by welcoming the participants and introducing the meeting. Then Kim Nielsen, Danish representative at the by IEA-OES, presented the international status of Wave Energy. Apart from the OPERA project, a number of Danish entities shared thought-provoking experiences from the perspective of technology developers (WavePiston, Floating Power Plant, Resen Waves), a material supplier (Gurit Composite Engineering), an academic institution (Aalborg University) and a testing site (Danish Wave Energy Centre). The meeting ended with the presentation of a startup funding guide and several B2B meetings.
